CERTIFICATION COURSES

1 GENERAL
1.1 This STS refers to the purchase by the Buyer of a CERTIFICATION COURSE from the Seller at the List Price and includes by incorporation the General Terms and Conditions of the Seller as may be found on the Seller’s website.
2 PAYMENT
2.1 Payment of the price and VAT and any other applicable costs or a purchase order shall be required to confirm the course booking.
2.1.1 If a purchase order is provided to confirm a course booking, payment shall be due within 30 days of the date of receipt of the invoice supplied by the Seller.
2.2 If payment of the price or any part thereof is not made by the due date, the Seller shall be entitled to:
2.2.1 require payment in advance of delivery in relation to any part of the CERTIFICATION COURSE not previously delivered;
2.2.2 refuse to make delivery of any undelivered part of the CERTIFICATION COURSE whether ordered under the contract or not and without incurring any liability whatever to the Buyer for non-delivery or any delay in delivery;
3 CANCELLATION RIGHTS
3.1 Buyer Cancellation Rights
3.1.1 The Buyer has the right to cancel up to two weeks before the CERTIFICATION COURSE and receive 100% refund.
3.1.2 The Buyer has the right to cancel between one and two weeks before the CERTIFICATION COURSE and receive 50% refund.
3.1.3 The Buyer has a right to cancel within one week of the CERTIFICATION COURSE and will receive 0% refund.
3.1.3 Non-attendance of the CERTIFICATION COURSE will be seen as a cancellation by the Buyer within one week of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, resulting in 0% refund. The Buyer is then responsible for any costs affiliated with delivering any remaining elements of the CERTIFICATION COURSE.
3.2 Seller Cancellation Rights
3.2.1 The Seller has the right to cancel or alter course dates due to unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances. In this event, the Seller will notify the Buyer with as much notice as possible of the change or cancellation of the CERTIFICATION COURSE. In the event the Seller needs to cancel or alter the course dates due to unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances the Buyer has the right to either move to an alternate course date or receive 100% refund.
3.2.2 The Seller has the right to cancel due to unforeseen or uncontrollable forces, including but not limited to internet dropout. In the event the Seller needs to cancel due to unforeseen or uncontrollable forces it is unlikely notice can be provided. The Buyer then has the right to move to alternate course dates. The Seller cannot take on any financial costs or implications affiliated with this, including but not limited to Buyer’s loss of earnings.
4 DESCRIPTION
4.1 Any description given or applied to the CERTIFICATION COURSE is given by way of identification only and the use of such description shall not constitute a sale by description.
5 SAMPLE
5.1 Where a sample of the CERTIFICATION COURSE or course materials are shown to and inspected by the Buyer, the parties hereto accept that such a sample is so shown and inspected for the sole purpose of enabling the Buyer to judge for itself the quality of the course, and not so as to constitute a sale by sample.
6 EXPECTATIONS OF THE BUYER
6.1 Online Courses
6.1.1 Unless otherwise specified, the delivery of the CERTIFICATION COURSE shall take place online on the date specified by the Seller. The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to attend the delivery of the CERTIFICATION COURSE. If the Buyer is not available to attend any or all of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, as agreed upon, the Buyer is responsible for any affiliated financial costs resulting in the Buyer’s lack of attendance.
6.1.2 The buyer can expect to receive automatic emails and communications from the Seller after the completion of each stage of the CERTIFICATION COURSE advising of the Buyer’s next steps. This might be done by email or by a confirmation notice after the submission of an online form. In instances where the Seller uses a confirmation notice after the submission of online forms, the Buyer can expect to receive immediate confirmation after the submission of the form. In instances where the Seller uses an automatic email to communicate next steps, this email will be sent within 24 hours of the Buyer completing the stage. If the Buyer does not receive the automatic email within 24 hours of completing the stage, unless otherwise stated, the Buyer will notify the Seller that communication has not been received so the Seller can investigate the cause. The Seller cannot be responsible for any emails being misdirected to the Buyer’s spam folder or for any emails blocked by the Seller’s internet security settings.
6.1.2a Stages include: initial booking of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, completion of applicable course prerequisites as advised of on Seller’s My Course page within the Buyer’s online portal (ex: provision of Flyer ID, creation of draft Operations Manual), attendance of theory course, booking theory exams with Seller, completion of theory exams, completion of the Practical Flight Test (if applicable to CERTIFICATION COURSE), submission of Flight Logs, submission of A2 Declaration Form, and submission of Operations Manual (if applicable to CERTIFICATION COURSE).
6.1.3 The Buyer is responsible for ensuring communications, including emails from the Seller, can be received. Should the Buyer unsubscribe from email communications from the Seller, the responsibility of the Seller in communicating next steps or course updates is negated.
6.1.4 The Buyer can expect the Seller to advise of any current CAA requirements for the issuance of certificates, in addition to the completion of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, during the theory course.
6.1.5 The Buyer can expect the Seller to provide the Buyer with any relevant contact information for their assessor, should their CERTIFICATION COURSE include a Practical Flight Test, within 24 hours of the Buyer completing the theory exams.
6.1.6 Upon successful completion of all course stages, the Buyer can expect to receive certificates from the Seller within one working week.
6.1.7 The Buyer can expect to be required to provide the Seller with their name and Flyer ID details, exactly as they appear on the Flyer ID, in order for the Seller to issue the certificates. If the Buyer does not provide the Seller with correct information, requiring the certificates to be reissued at any point in time, a fee of £15 excluding VAT per reissued certificate will be charged.
6.2 Onsite Courses
6.2.1 Where it has been agreed with the Seller that the delivery of the CERTIFICATION COURSE can take place onsite, the delivery of the CERTIFICATION COURSE will take place at the address agreed upon by the Buyer and Seller on the date(s) agreed upon by the Buyer and Seller. This location will be subject to a site survey and risk assessment by the Seller prior to the agreement of the location to determine the suitability of the location in accordance with the current regulations.
6.2.2 The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to attend the delivery of the CERTIFICATION COURSE. If the Buyer is not available to attend any or all of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, resulting in the Seller needing to return to the agreed location to complete the remainder of the training, the Buyer is responsible for any affiliated costs resulting from the Buyer’s lack of attendance.
6.2.3 The Buyer can expect the Seller to advise of any current CAA requirements for the issuance of certificates, in addition to the completion of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, during the theory course.
6.2.4 Upon successful completion of all course stages, the Buyer can expect to receive certificates from the Seller within one working week.
7 EXPECTATIONS OF THE SELLER
7.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to attend the CERTIFICATION COURSE, as agreed upon, or the Buyer will provide two weeks’ notice if unable to attend any or all parts of the CERTIFICATION COURSE.
7.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer to complete their theory exams with the Seller within three months of the Seller attending the theory course. Any delays in doing this resulting in additional costs will be assumed by the Buyer.
7.3 Where applicable, the Seller can expect the Buyer to complete their Practical Flight Test within three months of the completion of the Seller’s theory exams. Any delays in doing this, not relating to weather, resulting in additional costs will be assumed by the Buyer.
7.4 Theory Exams
7.4.1 Online Exams
7.4.1a The Seller can expect the Buyer to prepare for their theory exams ahead of time. If the Buyer has not prepared, resulting in the Buyer requiring any portion of the exams to be rescheduled for another date and time, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the re-sit within reason. Where it becomes evident that the Buyer did not prepare whatsoever for the theory exams, resulting in multiple re-sits, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the time at a rate of £125 excluding VAT for a 75 minute slot and £50 excluding VAT for a 30 minute slot. The minimum time slot available for re-sits is 30 minutes. In the event a chargeable re-sit is required, the re-sit cannot be booked until a PO or payment has been received.
7.4.1b Unless the Buyer informs the Seller that additional time is required for English language processing, the Seller is allowed 75 minutes for the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate theory exams and 30 minutes for A2 Certificate of Competence theory exams. The Buyer is allowed two attempts at each theory module during this time.
7.4.1c The Seller can expect the Buyer to complete the online theory exams within three months of the online theory course.
7.4.2 Onsite Exams
7.4.2a The Seller can expect the Buyer to prepare for their theory exams. If the Buyer has not prepared, resulting in the Seller needing to return to the agreed upon location for an additional visit at a later date and time, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the additional visit within reason. This charge will need to be assessed based on the distance and travel time required for the additional onsite visit.
7.4.2b Unless the Buyer informs the Seller that additional time is required for English language processing, the Seller is allowed 75 minutes for the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate theory exams and 30 minutes for the A2 Certificate of Competence theory exams. The Buyer is allowed two attempts at each theory module during this time.
7.4.2c The Seller can expect the Buyer to complete their theory exams during the onsite theory course.
7.5 Practical Flight Tests (where applicable)
7.5.1 Where the CERTIFICATION COURSE is being delivered online, the Seller can expect the Buyer to prepare for the Practical Flight Test ahead of time. If the Buyer fails the Practical Flight Test, the Seller has a right to charge for the re-booking of the Practical Flight Test at a rate of £267.50 excluding VAT.
7.5.2 Where the CERTIFICATION COURSE is being delivered online, the Seller can expect the Buyer to complete the Practical Flight Test within three months of the Seller completing their online theory exams.
7.5.3 Where the CERTIFICATION COURSE is being delivered online, once the Practical Flight Test date and time has been agreed between, the Buyer and Seller the Buyer will make all necessary arrangements to attend the Practical Flight Test on the agreed upon date and time. Should the Buyer need to reschedule the Practical Flight Test for any reason other than poor weather, the Buyer will provide the Seller with two weeks’ notice of the need to reschedule to avoid any rebooking fees. If the Buyer does not provide two weeks’ notice of the need to reschedule, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the rebooking at the cost of £267.50 excluding VAT.
7.5.4 Where the CERTIFICATION COURSE is being delivered onsite, the Seller can expect the Buyer to prepare for the Practical Flight Test. If the Buyer fails the Practical Flight Test, resulting in the Seller needing to return to the agreed upon location for an additional visit at a later date, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the additional visit within reason. This charge will need to be assessed based on the distance and travel time required for the additional onsite visit.
7.6 The Seller can expect the Buyer to complete the CERTIFICATION CORUSE in full before any certificates are issued. If the Buyer elects to abandon the CERTIFICATION COURSE no refund will be given.
7.7 The Seller can expect the Buyer to meet all current CAA requirements, in addition to the completion of the CERTIFICATION COURSE, before any certificates are issued.
7.8 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide the Seller with the Buyer’s name and Flyer ID details, exactly as they appear on the Flyer ID, in order for the Seller to issue the certificates. If the Buyer does not provide the Seller with correct information, requiring the certificates to be reissued at any point in time, a fee of £15 excluding VAT per reissued certificate will be charged.
7.9 Where the CERTIFICATION COURSE purchased is a General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) Conversion Course, either onsite or online, the Seller can expect the Buyer to complete all course requirements by the 21st of December 2023 at the latest to enable the Seller to issue certificates. If the Buyer is not able to complete the course by this date, the Buyer will be required to undergo a full GVC Course, including Practical Flight Test, at cost to receive the certification.
7.10 Where a CERTIFICATION COURSE has been purchased with Operations Manual and CAA Application Support, the Seller can expect the Buyer to complete the online Operations Manual form within three months of the Seller completing the Practical Flight Test.
7.11 Where a CERTIFICATION COURSE has been purchased with Operations Manual and CAA Application Support, the Seller can expect the Buyer to refer to the STS for Operations Manual and CAA Application Support in addition to this STS.
8 RISK
8.1 Where a CERTIFICATION COURSE has been purchased, requiring a Practical Flight Test, there is a risk of poor weather on the day requiring the Practical Flight Test to be rescheduled, sometimes with little or no advanced notice. The Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk of any costs should the Practical Flight Test need to be rescheduled due to weather. If the Buyer insists on the Practical Flight Test going ahead, against the advice of the Seller, and the weather does not improve, resulting in the Practical Flight Test not being feasible, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the re-booking of the Practical Flight Test within reason.
9 CERTIFICATES
9.1 Certificates shall not pass to the Buyer until the Seller has been paid in full for the CERTIFICATION COURSE and the CERTIFICATION COURSE, including all additional CAA requirements at the time, have been completed.
9.2 Where the CERTIFICATION COURSE purchased is a General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) Conversion Course, the Buyer must complete all course requirements by any CAA imposed deadline in order to receive their certification.

FLIGHT TRAINING

1 GENERAL
1.1 This STS refers to the purchase by the Buyer of a FLIGHT TRAINING session from the Seller at the List Price and includes by incorporation the General Terms and Conditions of the Seller as may be found on the Seller’s website.
2 PAYMENT
2.1 Payment of the price and VAT and any other applicable costs or a purchase order shall be required to confirm the FLIGHT TRAINING.
2.1.1 If a purchase order is provided to confirm a booking, payment shall be due within 30 days of the date of receipt of the invoice supplied by the Seller.
2.2 If payment of the price or any part thereof is not made by the due date, the Seller shall be entitled to:
2.2.1 require payment in advance of delivery in relation to any part of the FLIGHT TRAINING not previously delivered;
2.2.2 refuse to make delivery of any undelivered part of the FLIGHT TRAINING whether ordered under the contract or not and without incurring any liability whatever to the Buyer for non-delivery or any delay in delivery;

3.2.1 The Seller has the right to cancel or alter the FLIGHT TRAINING dates due to unsuitable weather conditions, exceeding safe limitations for the use of unmanned aircraft, commonly known as drones. In this event, the Seller will notify the Buyer with as much notice as possible of the change or cancellation of the FLIGHT TRAINING. In the event the Seller needs to cancel or alter the dates due to unsuitable weather conditions, the Buyer has the right to either move to an alternate date or receive 100% refund. The Seller cannot take on any financial costs or implications affiliated with this, including but not limited to the Buyer’s loss of earnings.
3.2.2 The Seller has the right to cancel due to unforeseen or uncontrollable forces. In the event the Seller needs to cancel due to unforeseen or uncontrollable forces, it is unlikely notice can be provided. The Buyer then has the right to either move to an alternate date or receive 100% refund. The Seller cannot take on any financial costs or implications affiliated with this, including but not limited to Buyer’s loss of earnings.
4 DESCRIPTION
4.1 Any description given or applied to the FLIGHT TRAINING is given by way of identification only and the use of such description shall not constitute a sale by description.
5 EXPECTATIONS OF THE BUYER
5.1 FLIGHT TRAINING at Seller Locations
5.1.1 Unless otherwise agreed, the delivery of the FLIGHT TRAINING shall take place at one of the Seller’s location, as specified by the Buyer, on a date agreed upon by the Buyer and Seller for the length of time or session purchased by the Buyer.
5.1.2 Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyer will send no more candidates than is permitted for the FLIGHT TRAINING session purchased.
5.1.3 Where FLIGHT TRAINING is booked in for a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, the Buyer can expect the Seller to confirm with the Buyer if the weather conditions will be suitable for the FLIGHT TRAINING to go ahead the day before the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.1.4 Where FLIGHT TRAINING is booked in for a Monday, the Seller will endeavour to confirm if the weather conditions will be suitable with the Buyer on the Friday before the FLIGHT TRAINING. In the event of unsettled conditions, making it difficult to confirm the FLIGHT TRAINING on the Friday before the FLIGHT TRAINING takes place, the Buyer has the right to either ask the Seller to make a weather decision on Sunday or reschedule the FLIGHT TRAINING for an alternate date.
5.1.5 The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to attend the delivery of the FLIGHT TRAINING. If the Buyer is not available to attend any or all of the FLIGHT TRAINING, as agreed upon, the Buyer is responsible for any affiliated financial costs resulting in the Buyer’s lack of attendance.
5.1.6 Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyer can expect to receive communication from the Seller by email.
5.1.7 The Buyer is responsible for ensuring communications, including emails from the Seller, can be received. Should the Buyer unsubscribe from email communications from the Seller, the responsibility of the Seller in communicating next steps or updates is negated.
5.1.8 The Buyer is responsible for providing any food or beverages the Buyer might want during the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.1.9 The Buyer can expect the Seller to have public liability insurance in place for the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.1.10 Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyer can expect the Seller to provide unmanned aircraft, commonly known as drones, for the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.2 Onsite FLIGHT TRAINING at Buyer’s Location
5.2.1 Where it has been agreed with the Seller that the delivery of the FLIGHT TRAINING can take place onsite, the delivery of the FLIGHT TRAINING will take place at the address agreed upon by the Buyer and Seller on the date(s) agreed upon by the Buyer and Seller for the agreed upon number of candidates. This location will be subject to a site survey and risk assessment by the Seller prior to the agreement of the location to determine the suitability of the location in accordance with the current regulations.
5.2.2 The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to attend the delivery of the FLIGHT TRAINING. If the Buyer is not available to attend any or all of the FLIGHT TRAINING, resulting in the Seller needing to return to the agreed location to complete the remainder of the training, the Buyer is responsible for any affiliated costs resulting from the Buyer’s lack of attendance.
5.2.3 Where FLIGHT TRAINING is booked in for a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, the Buyer can expect the Seller to confirm with the Buyer if the weather conditions will be suitable for the FLIGHT TRAINING to go ahead the day before the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.2.4 Where FLIGHT TRAINING is booked in for a Monday, the Seller will endeavour to confirm if the weather conditions will be suitable with the Buyer on the Friday before the FLIGHT TRAINING. In the event of unsettled conditions, making it difficult to confirm the FLIGHT TRAINING on the Friday
before the FLIGHT TRAINING takes place, the Buyer has the right to either ask the Seller to make a weather decision on Sunday or reschedule the FLIGHT TRAINING for an alternate date.
5.2.5 Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyer can expect to receive communication from the Seller by email.
5.2.6 The Buyer is responsible for ensuring communications, including emails from the Seller, can be received. Should the Buyer unsubscribe from email communications from the Seller, the responsibility of the Seller in communicating next steps or updates is negated.
5.2.7 The Buyer is responsible for providing any food or beverages the Buyer might want during the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.2.8 The Buyer can expect the Seller to have public liability insurance in place for the FLIGHT TRAINING.
5.2.9 Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyer can expect the Seller to provide unmanned aircraft, commonly known as drones, for the FLIGHT TRAINING.
6 EXPECTATIONS OF THE SELLER
6.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to attend the FLIGHT TRAINING, as agreed upon, or the Buyer will provide two weeks’ notice if unable to attend any or all parts of the FLIGHT TRAINING.
6.2 Where it has been agreed that the Buyer will provide unmanned aircraft, commonly referred to as drones, for the FLIGHT TRAINING, the Seller can expect the Buyer to make sure that all unmanned aircraft being used for FLIGHT TRAINING are in working order and there is enough batteries available for the FLIGHT TRAINING.
6.3 Where it has been agreed that the Buyer will provide unmanned aircraft, commonly referred to as drones, for the FLIGHT TRAINING, the Seller can expect the Buyer to have an Operator ID correctly displayed on the unmanned aircraft.
6.4 Where it has been agreed that the Buyer will provide unmanned aircraft, commonly referred to as drones, for the FLIGHT TRAINING, the Seller can expect the Buyer to have any equipment insurance cover the Buyer requires in place for the FLIGHT TRAINING.
7 RISK
7.1 As FLIGHT TRAINING is weather dependent, there is a risk of poor weather on the day requiring the FLIGHT TRAINING to be rescheduled, sometimes with little or no advanced notice. The Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk of any costs should the FLIGHT TRAINING need to be rescheduled due to weather. If the Buyer insists on the FLIGHT TRAINING going ahead, against the advice of the Seller, and the weather does not improve, resulting in the FLIGHT TRAINING not being feasible, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the re-booking of the FLIGHT TRAINING within reason.

OPERATIONS MANUAL AND APPLICATION SUPPORT

1 GENERAL
This STS refers to the purchase by The Buyer of Operations Manual and CAA Application Support from the Seller (Drone Training Ltd t/a Global Drone Training) at the List Price and includes by incorporation the General Terms and Conditions of the Seller as may be found on the Sellers website. From this point onward, Operations Manual and CAA Application Support will be referred to as Support.
2 PAYMENT
2.1 Payment of the price and VAT and any other applicable costs shall be due upon receipt of the invoice supplied by the Seller unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Seller.
2.2 If payment of the price or any part thereof is not made by the due date, the Seller shall be entitled to:
2.2.1 require payment in advance of delivery in relation to any Support not previously delivered;
2.2.2 refuse to make delivery of any undelivered Support whether ordered under the contract or not and without incurring any liability whatever to the Buyer for non-delivery or any delay in delivery;
3 CANCELLATION
The Buyer has 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel the purchase of Support and receive a full refund. This right to refund is negated if the Buyer has already accessed the Support within the Seller’s online system by ‘unlocking’ the form.
4 DESCRIPTION
The purchase of Support grants the Buyer one credit to access the Seller’s online Operations Manual form to generate an up-to-date Operations Manual, utilising the Seller’s core manual procedures. The purchase of Support does not include any changes or customisations to the Seller’s core manual and/or procedures. Upon the Buyer’s completion of the online Operations Manual form the Seller will review documentation provided, prepare the Operations Manual and prepare the application to the CAA. Any description given or applied to the Support is given by way of identification only and the use of such description shall not constitute a sale by description.
5 EXPECTATIONS FOR THE BUYER
5.1 The Buyer can expect to receive Support from the Seller during the Seller’s business hours only.
5.2 The Buyer can expect that once they have submitted the Operations Manual form the Seller will review the completed form and all supporting documentation provided within one working week.

5.3 The Buyer can expect that if the Seller has any queries or concerns regarding the information submitted the Seller will contact the Buyer within one working week from the submission of the form for further details or clarification.
5.4 The Buyer can expect that any customisation or changes requested by the Buyer to the Operations Manual will incur charges at the Seller’s hourly rate of £100 excluding VAT.
5.5 The Buyer can expect delays in receiving the updated Operations Manual and prepared application to the CAA should the Buyer not respond to Seller queries in a timely fashion.
5.6 The Buyer can expect to receive the prepared application to the CAA for a standard authorisation from the Seller within one working week of submitting the Operations Manual form.
5.7 The Buyer can expect to receive support from the Seller with queries the CAA might have regarding the application.
5.8 The Buyer can expect a response from the Seller regarding queries the CAA might have regarding the application within one working week.
5.9 The Buyer can expect the CAA to issue the Operational Authorisation within 28 working days from submitting the application to the CAA.
6 EXPECTATIONS FOR THE SELLER
6.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide accurate information as required in relation to the preparation of the Operations Manual and CAA application.
6.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer to respond to any queries the Seller has regarding the information provided by the Buyer in a timely fashion.
6.3 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide Quick Reference Handbooks for any aircraft the Seller does not already have Quick Reference Handbooks listed for within the Operations Manual form.
6.4 The Seller can expect the Buyer to complete any parts of the application to the CAA that the Buyer has not provided the Seller with information on.
6.5 The Seller can expect the Buyer to submit and pay for the application to the CAA within 30 days of receiving the prepared application from the Seller and before the authorisation expires.
6.6 The Seller can expect the Buyer to notify the Seller that the application has been submitted. If the Buyer will not be submitting the application immediately the Buyer will update the Seller with an expected submission date.
6.7 The Seller can expect the Buyer to notify the Seller when they have heard from the CAA regarding the application.
6.8 The Seller can expect the Buyer to supply the Seller with a copy of the authorisation once it has been received from the CAA.
7 RISK
Following an assessment by the CAA of the Buyer’s application, if the advised documents or criteria are not met the Buyer’s application may be rejected and an assessment fee of £124.00 charged. On the basis that the application was prepared using information and documents

provided by the Buyer as accurate, and taken in good faith by the Seller, this risk is assumed by the Buyer and the Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk or any costs should the application be rejected and an assessment fee charged. Additionally, if there are any delays in the Buyer submitting the application to the CAA that result in the Buyer needing to update their certification before the CAA can process the application the Seller cannot, at any point, take on any associated risks or costs that result. In the event of any delays in the Buyer submitting the application to the CAA, that result in the CAA charging a higher application fee due to authorisation lapsing before the application was submitted the Seller cannot, at any point, take on any associated risks or costs that result.
8 LIABILITY
8.1 No liability of any nature shall be incurred or accepted by the Seller in respect of any representation made by the Seller, or on its behalf, to the Buyer, or to any party acting on its behalf, prior to the making of this contract where such representations were made or given in relation to:
8.1.1 the correspondence of the Support with any description;
8.1.2 the quality of the Support; or
8.1.3 the fitness of the Support for any purpose whatsoever.
8.2 No liability of any nature shall be accepted by the Seller to the Buyer in respect of any express term of this contract where such term relates in any way to:
8.2.1 the correspondence of the Support with any description;
8.2.2 the quality of the Support; or
8.2.3 the fitness of the Support for any purpose whatsoever.
8.3 All implied terms, conditions or warranties as to the correspondence of the Support to any description or the satisfactory quality of the Support or the fitness of the Support for any purpose whatsoever (whether made known to the Seller or not) are hereby excluded from the contract.
9 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1 Where any court or arbitrator determines that any part of Clause 7 above is, for whatever reason, unenforceable, the Seller shall be liable for all loss or damage suffered by the Buyer but in an amount not exceeding the contract price.
9.2 Nothing contained in this STS or Terms of General Terms and Conditions of the Seller shall be construed so as to limit or exclude the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury as a result of the Seller’s negligence or that of its employees or agents.

SUPPORT PACKAGES

1 GENERAL
This STS refers to the purchase by The Buyer of a Customised Support Package from the Seller (Drone Training Ltd t/a Global Drone Training) at the quoted price and includes by incorporation the General Terms and Conditions of the Seller as may be found on the Sellers website. From this point onward, the Customised Support Package will be referred to as Support.
2 PAYMENT
2.1 Payment of the price and VAT and any other applicable costs shall be due upon receipt of the invoice supplied by the Seller unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Seller.
2.2 If payment of the price or any part thereof is not made by the due date, the Seller shall be entitled to:
2.2.1 require payment in advance of delivery in relation to any Support not previously delivered;
2.2.2 refuse to make delivery of any undelivered Support whether ordered under the contract or not and without incurring any liability whatever to the Buyer for non-delivery or any delay in delivery;
3 DESCRIPTION
As Support is customised based on the Buyer’s preferences, for a full description of what has been included please refer to the Support proposal. Expectations detailed within this STS are only applicable on the basis that the relating product has been selected by the Buyer for inclusion with this Support.
4 EXPECTATIONS FOR THE BUYER
4.1 RENEWAL OF THE OPERATIONAL AUTHORISATION (UKPDRA-01)
4.1.1 The Buyer can expect to receive Support from the Seller during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.1.2 The Buyer can expect that once they have submitted the Operations Manual form the Seller will review the completed form and all supporting documentation provided within one working week.
4.1.3 The Buyer can expect that if the Seller has any queries or concerns regarding the information submitted the Seller will contact the Buyer within one working week from the submission of the form for further details or clarification.
4.1.4 The Buyer can expect that any customisation or changes requested by the Buyer to the Operations Manual will incur charges at the Seller’s hourly rate of £100 excluding VAT.
4.1.5 The Buyer can expect delays in receiving the updated Operations Manual and prepared application to the CAA should the Buyer not respond to Seller queries in a timely fashion.

4.1.6 The Buyer can expect to receive the prepared application to the CAA for a standard authorisation from the Seller within one working week of submitting the Operations Manual form.
4.1.7 The Buyer can expect to receive support from the Seller with queries the CAA might have regarding the application.
4.1.8 The Buyer can expect a response from the Seller regarding queries the CAA might have regarding the application within one working week.
4.1.9 The Buyer can expect the CAA to issue the Operational Authorisation within 28 working days from submitting the application to the CAA.
4.2 APPLICATION FOR NEW OPERATIONAL AUTHORISATIONS (OSC)
4.2.1 The Buyer can expect to receive Support from the Seller during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.2.2 The Buyer can expect the Seller to offer an initial consultation regarding any interest the Buyer might have in applying for an Operational Authorisation based around an Operating Safety Case (OSC) at no charge.
4.2.3 After an initial consultation, the Buyer can expect the Seller to provide a quote for the work based on the anticipated time required.
4.2.4 The Buyer can expect to receive the Terms and Conditions for OPERATING SAFETY CASE SUPPORT before agreeing to any quote provided by the Seller for an application for an Operational Authorisation based around an Operating Safety Case (OSC).
4.3 CRASH INVESTIGATION SUPPORT
4.3.1 The Buyer can expect to receive Support from the Seller during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.3.2 The Buyer can expect to receive an initial analysis of damaged equipment as part of the Support.
4.3.3 The Buyer can expect to receive a quote from the Seller for the provision of any formal, investigative report costed on a time basis.
4.4 CAA AUDIT SUPPORT
4.4.1 The Buyer can expect to receive Support from the Seller during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.4.2 The Buyer can expect to receive advice from the Seller about preparing for a CAA audit.
4.4.3 The Buyer can expect to receive assistance from the Seller with responses to any CAA queries or findings.
4.4.4 The Buyer can expect to receive a quote from the Seller for support with any formal responses to CAA findings costed on a time basis.
4.5 COMPLIANCE SUPPORT AND INNOVATION MEETINGS

4.5.1 The Buyer can expect the Seller to organise with the Buyer compliance support and innovation meetings, as defined within the Support schedule, with the Buyer’s Accountable Manager and/or other staff responsible for overseeing the Buyer’s drone operations to ensure the Buyer is maintaining compliance in regard to the CAA Operational Authorisation and required record keeping.
4.5.2 The Buyer can expect the meetings to take place during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.5.3 The Buyer can expect the Seller to advise of any compliance issues noted in an informal capacity. Formal reports can be provided and costed on a time basis.
4.5.4 The Buyer can expect to utilise the meetings to discuss future planning and innovation as time permits.
4.6 REMOTE PILOT COMPETENCY ANNUAL REVIEW
4.6.1 The Buyer can expect the Seller to organise, as defined within the Support schedule, onsite review meetings, regulation updates, theory checks and advanced flying skills.
4.6.2 The Buyer can expect the onsite visit(s) to take place during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.6.3 Following the onsite visit(s), the Buyer can expect to receive from the Seller any follow up actions, as defined within the Support schedule. An example of this could be a Remote Pilot review report with recommendations for the Buyer for advancing the successful use of drones.
4.6.4 The Buyer can expect the Seller to quote for any additional time or days the Buyer desires for additional onsite visits.
4.7 WORKING GROUP MEETINGS
4.7.1 The Buyer can expect the Seller to organise with the Buyer working group meetings, as defined within the quote, with the Buyer’s Accountable Manager and/or other relevant stakeholders.
4.7.2 The Buyer can expect the meetings to take place during the Seller’s business hours only.
4.7.3 The Buyer can expect the Seller to advise on UAS regulations that may impact working group decisions in an informal capacity. Formal reports can be provided and costed on a time basis.
4.7.4 The Buyer can expect to utilise the meetings to discuss working group topics as time permits.
5 EXPECTATIONS FOR THE SELLER

5.2 APPLICATION FOR NEW OPERATIONAL AUTHORISATIONS (OSC)
5.2.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide accurate information during an initial consultation about applying for an Operational Authorisation based around an Operating Safety Case (OSC).
5.2.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer to agree to the Terms and Conditions for OPERATING SAFETY CASE SUPPORT when accepting a quote for applying for an Operational Authorisation based around an Operating Safety Case (OSC).
5.3 CRASH INVESTIGATION SUPPORT
5.3.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide all accurate information, such as digital flight logs, required to investigate any incident and analyse damaged equipment, as requested by the Buyer.
5.3.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide written or digital confirmation of acceptance of any quote provided by the Buyer to the Seller for the provision of any formal, investigative reports, costed on a time basis, before the Seller commences the work.
5.4 CAA AUDIT SUPPORT
5.4.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to notify the Seller as soon as reasonably possible that the CAA has advised an audit will be conducted.
5.4.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide accurate information, as needed, to enable the Seller to advise on the preparation for a CAA audit.
5.4.3 The Seller can expect the Buyer to send any questions the Seller has received from the CAA as soon as reasonably possible to enable the Seller to assist with CAA responses.
5.4.4 The Seller can expect the buyer to provide written or digital confirmation of acceptance of any quote provided by the Buyer to the Seller for support with any formal

responses to CAA findings, costed on a time basis, before the Seller commences the work.
5.5 COMPLIANCE SUPPORT AND INNOVATION MEETINGS
5.5.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide 24-hour cancellation notice for compliance support and innovation meetings.
5.5.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer and/or other staff responsible for overseeing the Buyer’s drone operations to ensure the Buyer is maintaining compliance to attend the meetings once organised.
5.6 REMOTE PILOT COMPETENCY ANNUAL REVIEW
5.6.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer’s Accountable Manager and/or other staff responsible for overseeing the Buyer’s drone operations and Remote Pilots to attend the onsite review meeting(s), regulation updates, theory checks and advanced flying skills once organised.
5.6.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide one week cancellation notice for the remote pilot competency annual review.
5.7 WORKING GROUP MEETINGS
5.7.1 The Seller can expect the Buyer to provide 24-hour cancellation notice for working group meetings.
5.7.2 The Seller can expect the Buyer and/or other relevant stakeholders to attend the meeting once organised.
6 RISK

Additionally, if there are any delays in the Buyer submitting the application to the CAA that result in the Buyer needing to update their certification before the CAA can process the application the Seller cannot, at any point, take on any associated risks or costs that result. In the event of any delays in the Buyer submitting the application to the CAA, that result in the CAA charging a higher application fee due to authorisation lapsing before the application was submitted the Seller cannot, at any point, take on any associated risks or costs that result.
6.2 APPLICATION FOR NEW OPERATIONAL AUTHORISATIONS (OSC)

6.3 CRASH INVESTIGATION SUPPORT
Following an initial investigation into a reported crash or incident made by the Buyer to the Seller, the Seller will endeavour to provide as accurate an analysis as possible based on the information provided. The Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk of any costs should the

findings of the initial investigation prove to be inaccurate to due inaccurate or incomplete information being provided to the Seller by the Buyer.
6.4 CAA AUDIT SUPPORT
Following the notification of an upcoming CAA audit by the Buyer to the Seller, the Seller will endeavour to provide the Buyer with advice on preparing for the audit. The Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk of any costs should the Buyer not follow the Seller’s advice in preparing for the audit. In addition, the Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk of any costs relating to the Buyer not advising the Seller of CAA queries raised during the audit. The Seller cannot assume any responsibility for the Buyer not incorporating recommendations from the Seller in maintaining compliance with unmanned aircraft operations.
6.5 REMOTE PILOT COMPETENCY ANNUAL REVIEW
Where an onsite remote pilot competency and annual review has been organised to include any practical, outdoor flying elements there is a risk of poor weather on the day requiring the practical, outdoor flying elements to be rescheduled, sometimes with little or no advanced notice. The Seller cannot, at any point, take on the risk of any costs should the practical, outdoor flying elements need to be rescheduled due to weather. If the Buyer insists on the practical, outdoor flying elements go ahead, against the advice of the Seller, and the weather does not improve, resulting in the practical, outdoor elements not being feasible, the Seller reserves the right to charge for the re-booking of the visit within reason. In the event of anticipated poor weather, the Buyer would have the option of either rescheduling the day or adjusting the schedule for the day to remove the practical, outdoor flying elements.
7 LIABILITY
