GLOBAL DRONE TRAINING (GDT)
Term Sheet for Flight Training
1 GENERAL
1.1 This Term Sheet refers to the purchase of a flight training session from GDT and includes by incorporation GDT’s General Terms and Conditions as may be found on GDT’s website. Where there is any conflict between this Term Sheet and the General Terms and Conditions this Term Sheet prevails.
2 PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 For purchases made online from GDT’s website the price and VAT stated on the website, and any other applicable costs, shall be paid in advance.
2.2 For purchases made other than by GDT’s website the price shall be as stated on a quotation/invoice provided by GDT and payment or a purchase order shall be required to confirm the course booking. If a purchase order is provided to confirm a course booking, payment shall be due within 30 days of the date of receipt of the invoice supplied by GDT or before the date of the course, whichever is the sooner.
2.3 Until the price has been paid in full GDT shall be entitled to refuse to deliver any undelivered part of the flight training.
3 CANCELLATION RIGHTS
3.1 Buyer Cancellation Rights in respect of Flight Training
3.1.1 The Buyer may cancel up to two weeks in advance and receive 100% refund.
3.1.2 The Buyer may cancel between one and two weeks in advance and receive 50% refund.
3.1.3 No refunds will be given in the event of the Buyer’s cancellation less than a full week in advance or in the event of non-attendance.
3.2 GDT Cancellation Rights
3.2.1 GDT may cancel or alter dates. GDT will notify the Buyer with as much notice as possible of any proposed change or cancellation. In such a situation the Buyer may agree an alternate date or opt to receive a full refund in respect of the elements for which the date has been cancelled or altered, but no other financial compensation will be payable by GDT for any reason.
4 TERMS FOR THE BUYER
4.1 The Buyer accepts and agrees that;
4.1.1 flight training will take place at the address and on the day(s) agreed upon by the Buyer and GDT for the duration of the session purchased by the Buyer. Proposed locations are subject to a satisfactory site survey and risk assessment by GDT.
4.1.2 flight training is subject to a limit on the number of trainees which will be agreed in advance and no more than the maximum shall be permitted in the designated training area.
4.1.3 it will be agreed in advance whether unmanned aircraft (drones) for use in the flight training will be provided by the Buyer or GDT.
4.1.4 drones provided by the Buyer must be in good working order with enough batteries to last the duration of the training session, have the correct Operator ID affixed to them and are provided at the Buyer’s own risk.
4.1.5 GDT will provide public liability insurance cover for the flight training but all other insurable risks are the Buyer’s.
4.1.6 GDT will confirm if weather conditions will be suitable for the flight training to go ahead the day before it is scheduled unless it is scheduled for a Monday in which case the assessment will be made on the preceeding Friday. In the event of unsettled conditions on a Friday the Buyer may ask for a weather decision on Sunday or reschedule for an alternate date.
4.1.7 Any food or beverages required by trainees during the flight training are to be provided by the Buyer.
4.1.8 Once flight training has been booked the Buyer will receive communications by email.
